In 2019, Yurii earned his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ukrainian Catholic University. He followed this up with an M.Sc. in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Lviv Business School in 2021. In 2023, he enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Intelligent Systems, also at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ukrainian Catholic University.
Since 2018, Yurii has been employed as a Research and Development Engineer, specializing in Machine Learning. He has led a team of three data scientists and engineers, focusing on various sectors including InsurTech, Legal, and Marketing. This team develops and implements machine learning solutions. In 2023, Yurii contributed to a scientific paper titled “Contextual Embeddings for Ukrainian: A Large Language Model Approach to Word Sense Disambiguation,” which was successfully presented at EACL 2023.
