Тема його PhD дослідження: Context-Aware Synonym Substitution Attacks and Defences for Low-Resource Language Models
In 2018, Volodymyr earned his B.Sc in Statistics from the Faculty of Applied Statistics at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He pursued his academic journey with an M.Sc in Theoretical and Applied Statistics from the same faculty at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, graduating with honors in 2019. His master’s thesis focused on the development of reinforcement learning agents for trading items on the Steam community market. In 2023, he embarked on a Ph.D. program in Intelligent Systems within the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ukrainian Catholic University.
Since 2018, Volodymyr has been actively involved as a Data Scientist across various companies. During this time, he has had the opportunity to work on projects spanning different domains, including software development, public e-procurement, InsurTech, and electronic manufacturing.
In 2023, Volodymyr contributed to a scientific paper titled “Contextual Embeddings for Ukrainian: A Large Language Model Approach to Word Sense Disambiguation,” which was notably presented at EACL 2023.
