Ostap received his Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Computer Science from Ukrainian Catholic University in 2021. Further, he graduated with a Computer Science Master’s degree from the Data Science program at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Ukrainian Catholic University. During his studies, he published several publications at the AIME 2020 conference and CVPR workshops.
During his professional career, Ostap worked as a researcher at the Machine Learning Lab at UCU, Data Scientist at the outsourcing company Avenga, R&D Engineer at SoftServe. Currently, he occupies the position of Senior Computer Vision Engineer at DressX startup, where he leads teams of 4 engineers. Ostap has experience in multiple domains, including Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Reinforcement Learning. Current professional and research interests include 3D Geometry, and Generative Modeling (GenAI) in Computer Vision.
Ostap also actively participates in the teaching and assisting at the Applied Sciences Faculty at UCU. Since 2021, he has been part of the team that developed a Computer Vision course for Bachelor students. Currently, he teaches Intro to 3D Computer Vision and Multiple-View Geometry.
